6 - 10 October 2021
Facilitated by:
Safa Hijazeen

About this module

In this day and age, we ought to ask ourselves how we are able to create and take advantage of new economic and social opportunities that offer us the capacity to recover after catastrophes and grow strong in times of relative calm. Post-crisis economies and business models have shifted tremendously due to the on-going pandemic, therefore developing a proper understanding of resilience and its relevance to design and business is imperative.

In an inter-connected world, we have opportunities more than ever to acquire knowledge and build business models that give us the ability to spring back effectively. We will visit some of these business models, build a simple financial structure around a product or service, and explore way to create businesses as a force for good - for individuals, organizations, community, and beyond.
